SG style guitars are known for fluid action and ease of playing. They have two cutaways, with beveled edges, allowing ease of accessibility to the upper registers. Sharp horns on the cutaways are a distinguishing feature, and fit in well with a rock and roll setting. The ultra-slim neck of this style has always been advertised as "the fastest neck in the world." SG is a favorite of professtional players, and is an excellent choice for a beginner electric guitar. If you are into heavy metal, classic rock and roll, or the blues, an SG could be the best electric guitar for you.
Our Stadium SG copy has all the features expected of an SG style electric guitar. It has a light-weight solid mahogany body, with mahogany neck, and two humbucker pickups. The result is a warmer tone than the bright tone of a Strat. The set neck joint is designed to produce better tone, and better sustain than a bolt-on neck, with no loose or misaligned necks. It ensures maximum contact between body and neck, allowing both parts to function as a single resonant unit. As is typical of an SG, a transparent finish lets the grain of the mahogany wood show through. The Pearl White color is exclusive to Stadium. You will want to play this elegant guitar at wedding receptions, graaduation parties, and other important social events.
